8/365 Marcia
When I told Marcia I was happily pregnant, she said, “Be careful. You could still have a miscarriage.” Then she said, “Or maybe you’re not pregnant at all. Maybe you failed to get your period because of a medical problem.”
40 words a day about (it is hoped) 365 individuals

lol. My brother had a roommate who is slated for one of these 40-word minis. We were all watching TV one night, and a commercial came on, showing someone pregnant who was out buying a crib.
"I don't know why people bother buying all that stuff ahead of time," he said with his usual cheerfulness, "there are so many things that could happen..."
He reminded me of no one so much as the gloomy robot in Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Not sure if I'd laugh, or cry!
And Marcia's problem was called what?
